FLORIDA $1 Pledged by the public lands of the State.ALABAMA $100 Bills are not printed on the reverse side.

CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA $20 The main illustration is of the goddess Industry next to Cupid.On the left is Alexander H.Stephens,Vice President of the Confederate States of America.CSA $10 Portrait at left is of Robert M.T.Hunter,Confederate Secretary of State in 1861."Hope"with an anchor is in the center.CSA $50 Bears a handsome portrait of Jefferson Davis,President of the Confederate States of America.CSA $1000 The only $1000 Confederate Note,and the highest denomination. (D) 7 CONFEDERATE Banknotes,MONEY!They are as follows.GEORGIA 50 cents This note pictures farming as its theme.At the bottom is a small design representing a state seal.NORTH CAROLINA 75 cents This unusual denomination,issued at the state capital in Raleigh,shows a portrait of the goddess Industry standing beside a beehive.TENNESSEE 10 cents A "paper dime"issued early in the war.The coin pictured is a Spanish"piece of eight"which circulated widely in the U.S. from the Colonial era through the 1860s.VIRGINIA 30 cents A most unusual denomination, this note first appeared shortly after Richmond became the permanent capital of the Confederacy.ALABAMA 25 cents A wagonload of cotton is pictured in the center.SOUTH CAROLINA 15 cents The drawing is of the "Palmetto tree"state seal.FLORIDA 25 cents-This "paper coin"was supposed to have the actual signature of Governor John Milton,But it is in fact that of a secretary.
